ABOUT OHLINS
Tough
shocks for street and track.
For motorcycles within the sport sector, the shock absorbers must
have very good track qualities, function well in ordinary traffic
and have a high level of comfort. Shocks from Öhlins handle all
these criteria better than any other shocks, and much better than
standard shocks.
When
Ohlins designs shocks for sport bikes, they imagine what the
motorcycle’s manufacturer intended when it comes to performance,
options, comfort and so on. They evaluate each motorcycle model
individually, down to the smallest detail. Then their professional
riders, often competition riders, carry out tests, both on a track
and on public roads. In addition, they test each bike with various
tires as we know that they also play a decisive role in achieving
the desired quality.
From there they design shocks that meet, and even surpass, the
qualities that the manufacturers have been striving for. In carrying
out this task, they borrow a number of technical solutions and ideas
from the hypersport sector, however, they modify them for more
everyday riding comfort.
